I just closed the BTC short positions that I held for more than 16 days, exiting at $91,288, losing 0.16U—this position should have been closed earlier.
Looking back, the initial short positions were opened when the panic index was at 28 and Nasdaq was halted, with a strong risk sentiment in the market. But now, the data from the review speaks for itself: the 4-hour EMA has risen to $90,557, and the price has returned above the entry price, showing no momentum for further decline. This indicates that the bearish argument at the time of opening the position has become invalid.
Sticking to a strategy that has already failed is gambling, not trading. So decisively cut it off - although I lost a bit, the margin side of the account still earned 2.6U, which offsets almost entirely. More importantly, this way I can look for the next reliable opportunity instead of being dragged down by a dead position.
The most frightening thing about trading is not the loss, but holding onto positions without reason. When the indicators and news don't match, it's time to exit—this time decisively. #BTC #平仓 #GateAI人机对抗赛 #GatePerps
