Don't remind me again today

The Trump-themed assets are taking a beating lately. Both his stock holdings and the crypto tokens bearing his name have been sliding down hard, and guess who's feeling the pain? His most loyal supporters who bet big on these assets.

It's kind of ironic when you think about it. The same crowd that cheered loudest when these assets launched are now watching their portfolios shrink. We're talking serious money evaporating here—not just small dips, but the kind of losses that make you question your investment thesis.

What's driving this selloff? Market sentiment is shifting. The initial hype has worn off, and now reality is setting in. These politically-branded assets are proving to be way more volatile than traditional holdings. Some traders jumped in purely on momentum, others genuinely believed in the long-term value proposition. Either way, they're all staring at red numbers now.

The crypto tokens linked to Trump's brand are particularly brutal. They pumped hard on launch, sure, but the dump has been even more spectacular. Classic pump-and-dump pattern playing out in real time. Meanwhile, his stock positions aren't faring much better—caught in broader market turbulence and investor skepticism.

For those still holding, it's a tough spot. Do you average down and hope for a bounce? Or cut losses and move on? The emotional attachment some investors have to these assets makes rational decision-making even harder. That's the danger of mixing politics with portfolios—you're not just betting on numbers anymore, you're betting on narratives.

This whole situation is a reminder: celebrity-backed assets and politically-charged tokens carry extra layers of risk that traditional crypto doesn't. When the tide turns, it turns fast.

Haha, this is called faith deposit, playing people for suckers has hit our own people. Investing in political coins is like this; when the narrative collapses, it’s useless. Another round of market maker harvesting; I guess we have to learn some lessons for next time. Pumped to the sky and then dumped to hell, a classic operation. There’s no safety in coins linked to politics; this time you should understand.

Uh, it's this set again... Faith deposit? --- Political games should be like this, when the hype dissipates, the true form reveals itself. --- The ultimate art of Be Played for Suckers, whoever enters a position gets slaughtered. --- Ngl, this wave is indeed tragic, but then again, who told you to go all in on one person's Token? --- Wallet is bleeding, faith is still holding on, this is reality. --- Textbook case of pump and dump, it's comfortable to watch. --- Why do some people always confuse investment with gambling... --- It's time to wake up, guys, coins with political skin are always a pit.

Haha, I really can't escape the fate of suckers. Political coins are just like this, once the hype is over, it's dumping. The outcome for those who are foolish with too much money... a faith deposit machine. Mixing politics into the crypto world? You deserve to be played for suckers, I've said long ago this is not value investing. Speaking of which, this wave is indeed fierce, it's like falling from the moon back to the earth's core. How are the frens who bought the dip doing now... probably not sleeping well. Just want to ask, is anyone still catching a falling knife? Populist coins are inherently a high-risk gamble, wake up everyone.

How hard can the political coin play people for suckers... Watching the loyal fans cut loss really feels a bit too good to say it out loud.

The biggest problem with political coins is that the consensus is too fragile; once the narrative shatters, it drops to zero. I have long said not to touch such things, yet there are still people going all in... Cut loss or average down? Eh, both are equally painful.

This is treating political beliefs as an investment, and it will eventually lead to losses.
