Gate received an AA/A rating: this is a key step in the platform's maturity. Seeing Gate recently rated as AA (score 85.97) for derivatives and A for spot in CoinDesk's newly published Exchange Benchmark, my first impression is: finally, the long-term efforts of the platform are reflected in its "professional credibility."

Why is this rating important? Many platforms have been popular in the past, but they often struggle to maintain transparency, regulatory compliance, risk control capabilities, and liquidity depth. CoinDesk's assessment covers over 200 indicators, quantifying exchange risks and transparency, serving as a standard reference for institutions.

From a user perspective: if a platform scores AA in derivatives, it indicates that its matching mechanism, risk control system, liquidity depth, and market quality are reliable; an A in spot suggests a stable underlying trading environment. For users like me who switch between contracts and spot trading over the long term, this means Gate can be prioritized when choosing a platform. Of course, ratings are not the end goal but the starting point. The future will show whether the platform can maintain these standards and push transparency and user service even higher. But at this moment, I prefer to see it as a "trust boost."
