IBM, Microsoft, MITRE Form Quantum Cryptography and Security Coalition
IBM Quantum, Microsoft, MITRE, PQShield, SandboxAQ, and the University of Waterloo have formed a coalition to address the potential threat of quantum computers to current encryption schemes. Post-quantum cryptography aims to develop secure algorithms and integrate them into cryptographic libraries and protocols. The coalition's mission is to ensure key institutions can transition to post-quantum encryption.
