Gate News message. On April 6, according to CoinGlass data, the total liquidation amount across the cryptocurrency market in the past 24 hours reached $313 million. Of that, long liquidations totaled $41.96 million, short liquidations totaled $271 million, and short liquidations accounted for 86.6%.

By coin, BTC liquidation amount was $158 million, and ETH liquidation amount was $81.39 million. In the past 24 hours, a total of 81,920 people were liquidated. The largest single liquidation occurred on the Hyperliquid BTC-USD trading pair, worth $4.12 million.
