Precious metals weaken during the day; gold falls 0.97%, and oil prices diverge

Gate News message. On April 6, according to Gate’s latest data, the precious metals market weakened during the day; the price of gold fell to 4,630.46 USD per ounce, down 0.97%; the price of silver fell to 72.055 USD per ounce, down 1.22%.

In terms of crypto market volatility, BVIX (the BTC volatility index) was at 48.62, up 3.40% during the day; EVIX (the ETH volatility index) was at 69.81, down 0.73% during the day.

In the foreign exchange market, the USD/CNH (U.S. dollar to offshore Chinese yuan) rose 0.03% during the day to 6.88562; the USD/JPY (U.S. dollar to Japanese yen) rose 0.03% during the day to 159.654.

For global equity indices, the Europe 50 Index (EUSTX50) fell 0.53% during the day to 5,701.13 points; the UK FTSE 100 Index (UK100) rose 0.30% during the day to 10,452.09 points; the German DAX40 Index (GER40) fell 0.46% during the day to 23,209.90 points.

In the commodities market, WTI crude oil fell 0.08% during the day to 112.19 USD per barrel; Brent crude oil rose 1.15% during the day to 113.85 USD per barrel.
