Gate News, April 3, blockchain security firm SlowMist has recently released a security assessment report, conducting a focused audit of a major Web3 wallet. The results show that, in the audited versions, no behavior was found in which the wallet transmitted sensitive information such as private keys or seed phrases to external servers. Overall, no risk of sensitive data leakage was detected. This assessment focused on whether private keys and seed phrases are exposed or sent out; the results indicate that the relevant core information is handled locally. The current method of processing private keys and seed phrases has become a core aspect of wallet security, and such audit results also provide users with a more direct security reference.
