BlockBeats News, March 26 — Singapore-based Web3 infrastructure company Startale Labs announced the completion of a $63 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Sony Innovation Fund, with participation from Asian industry and financial giants such as Samsung Next, UOB Venture Management, and SBI Holdings. This funding has doubled the company’s valuation compared to the seed stage at the beginning of 2024. The funds will mainly be used for:
- Global promotion of the “Startale Super App” and integration of USDSC stablecoin as a unified on-chain settlement layer for entertainment.
- Expansion of the “Soneium Spark” incubation program, which has already onboarded over 250 decentralized applications covering gaming, music, and AI content creation.
- Development of “entertainment-native” blockchain tools to help traditional media companies tokenize intellectual property and interact directly with global fans.
- Advancement of the Japanese Yen stablecoin (JPYSC), focusing on regulated financial sectors to promote it as the main liquidity trading pair on the Soneium network, enabling 24/7 cross-border settlements in the Asia-Pacific region.
