Gate News: On March 20, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) decided to extend the deadline for a decision on Nasdaq PHLX’s proposed rule change regarding the listing and trading of Nasdaq Bitcoin Index options. The rule change proposal was initially submitted on September 23, 2025, and the SEC began the review process in December 2025. Under relevant regulations, the SEC has now postponed the final decision deadline from the original date of March 28, 2026, to May 27, 2026. The SEC stated that the extension is to ensure sufficient time to review the proposal and address related issues and public comments.
