Gate has established an integrated partnership with custodian Komainu to expand off-chain settlement infrastructure.

Gate News, March 18 — The cryptocurrency trading platform Gate announced a partnership with institutional-grade digital asset custody provider Komainu. By integrating with Komainu Connect, Gate is further expanding its over-the-counter settlement (OES, meaning transactions settled outside the exchange) infrastructure. This collaboration allows institutional clients to access Gate’s trading and liquidity system directly, with assets stored securely by a regulated, independent custody provider. It enables a institutional-level trading model that separates custody from trade execution, reducing counterparty risk and improving operational efficiency and security. This integration further strengthens Gate’s service capabilities in the institutional market and expands its SuperLink ecosystem, integrating custody, liquidity, and financial services.
