Clarity Act Markup Slips to May as Stablecoin Yield Dispute Persists

The Senate Banking Committee pushed Clarity Act debate into May as three sticking points remain, including stablecoin yield. President Donald Trump told memecoin holders at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend that he wants the bill passed and would sign it immediately. Polymarket odds of passage in 2026 fell to 47% from 82% in February.
