On November 29, according to Bloomberg, Reddit is in discussions with potential investors to prepare for the possible listing of the social media group. Reddit is considering a possible initial public offering as early as the first quarter of next year, according to people familiar with the matter.

Golden Finance previously reported that on October 18, Reddit decided to terminate its blockchain-based community points service that it had been doing for nearly three years. Tim Rathschmidt, Head of Consumer and Product Communications at Reddit, said: "While we see some future opportunities for Community Points, the investment of resources required is too high to sustain. In addition, the regulatory environment has added to the difficulties in this regard. Reddit will cancel community credits on November 8.
