After reducing risk on open positions by either taking partial/full profits or tightening stop losses (or both) I don_t usually take much action right after.
If I get over eager and start jumping right back into more positions I usually just give back gains.
Trading is a marathon, not a sprint. Don_t always have to go 100 miles an hour. Only exception for me is peak bull market when there_s hysteria and you go 100 miles an hour for a few weeks.
