RTX Corp. has been awarded a $3.81 billion Navy contract modification for the production of F135 propulsion systems for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program. The contract covers Lot 18 definitization and Lot 19 production for the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, F-35 Cooperative Program Partners, and Foreign Military Sales customers. Work is expected to be completed by March 2028, with funding obligated from various fiscal years and sources.
