NABU Conducts Searches At Kyiv Court Of Appeal And Prosecutor General's Office Staff In Ivanishchenko Case Source
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Informed law enforcement source reported this to Ukrinform.
“Detectives are conducting searches at the Kyiv Court of Appeal and among certain representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office in the case of lifting the arrest on the funds of former MP Ivanishchenko in Switzerland,” the source said.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on May 25, 2022, it became known that Switzerland intended to confiscate assets belonging to an associate of former president Viktor Yanukovych, Yuriy Ivanishchenko, totaling more than CHF 100 million (about $104 million).

Since 2014, Ivanishchenko has been involved in two cases of the Prosecutor General’s Office: one concerning the alleged raiding of one of Ukraine’s largest markets, 7th Kilometer Market in Odesa, and another involving the embezzlement of “Kyoto funds.”
After the Prosecutor General’s Office lost its investigative powers in 2019, the cases against Ivanishchenko were transferred to NABU for further investigation, where they were effectively put on hold as the suspect was wanted.
In September 2025, NABU placed Ivanishchenko on the wanted list in a case concerning the legalization of 18 hectares of state land worth more than UAH 160 million.
