Oman's Foreign Minister Meets US Envoy in Geneva to Discuss Iran Nuclear Issue

On the morning of the 26th local time, Omani Foreign Minister Badr met with U.S. Special Envoy Wittekov and Trump’s son-in-law Kushner in Geneva, Switzerland. The meeting took place within the current framework of indirect negotiations between the U.S. and Iran. According to the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks discussed Iran’s proposed ideas and suggestions, as well as responses and inquiries from the U.S. negotiating team regarding key issues of Iran’s nuclear program. Additionally, both sides discussed the necessary safeguards to reach a nuclear agreement, covering technical and regulatory aspects. Badr pointed out that all parties are continuing to push forward with the negotiations in a constructive manner. The negotiators have shown unprecedented openness to innovative and creative ideas and plans, and are working to create a favorable environment to ultimately reach a fair and sustainable agreement.
