Gelonghui March 17 | JPMorgan Chase announced the appointment of Liu Bowei as Vice Chairman of Investment Banking for Asia Pacific and Zhang Yi as Co-Head of Investment Banking for China. These two appointments demonstrate JPMorgan Chase’s long-term commitment and investment in the investment banking business in the Asia Pacific region, including the Chinese market. Over the past five years, Liu Bowei, as Co-Head of Investment Banking for China, led the team in providing services for many high-profile strategic transactions in a complex market environment. After being promoted to Vice Chairman of Investment Banking for Asia Pacific, Liu will lead services for the most important Hong Kong clients and further deepen communication and cooperation with key regulatory agencies in Hong Kong. Zhang Yi has over twenty years of investment banking experience. Before joining JPMorgan Chase, he worked at Goldman Sachs, responsible for coverage of Chinese industrial sector clients.
