When answering questions about China-U.S. Paris economic and trade consultations, Ministry of Commerce spokesperson He Yongqian said that both sides, guided by the important consensus between the Chinese and U.S. heads of state, engaged in honest, in-depth, and constructive exchanges on trade issues of mutual concern, such as tariff arrangements, promoting bilateral trade and investment, and maintaining existing consultation consensus. They have reached some new agreements and will continue to maintain consultations.
