If you’re considering mutual funds for your investment portfolio or retirement account, this list highlights the best large-cap stock funds to consider now, based on each fund outperforming the S&P 500 over the past one-, three-, five- and 10-year periods.

Shaded cells in the table below indicate the best-of-the-best funds based on 10-year performance. Of 659 large-cap stock funds at least 10 years old, 35 of them, or 5%, won IBD Best Mutual Funds 2026 awards.

Large-cap stocks are shares of companies with a market capitalization value of more than $10 billion. Generally, large, established companies are considered safer investments than smaller companies.
