Bubblemaps: A Single Entity Controls Approximately 40% Share in ROBO Airdrop Through 7,500 Wallets
Odaily Planet Daily reports that Bubblemaps posted on X platform stating that on-chain analysis shows the token ROBO from the blockchain analysis project Fabric Foundation may have been subject to a large-scale “witch hunt” attack during airdrop. Data indicates that about 7,500 newly created wallets participated in the airdrop through highly consistent on-chain behavior, suspected to be controlled by the same entity. These addresses received concentrated funding two months before the airdrop, received similar amounts of ETH, and transferred funds through three layers of new wallets before claiming the airdrop. In total, approximately 199 million $ROBO tokens were claimed, accounting for about 40% of the total airdrop, with an initial value of around $8 million at launch price.
On-chain fund flow analysis shows that the sources of funds for these wallets involve seven exchanges, with highly consistent patterns in fund flow, timing, and operational paths, further supporting the judgment that a single entity manipulated the airdrop in bulk. Bubblemaps states that currently, no direct connection has been found between these activities and the core teams of Fabric Protocol or Openmind. The relevant investigation results were communicated to the project team before publication.
