Federal Reserve Governor Waller: Does Not Believe It Is Necessary to Consider a Rate Hike

Mars Finance News: On March 20, Federal Reserve Board Member Waller stated that if oil prices remain high for several months, it will eventually feed into core inflation. Currently, being cautious does not mean staying still for the rest of the year. Waller said he does not believe there is a need to consider raising interest rates. If employment remains weak, he will advocate for rate cuts later this year, hoping to observe how the situation develops before making a decision. (Jin10)
