Xiaoma Zhixing and Ruqi Mobility Co-Construct Robotaxi Fleet, First Batch of Over 100 Seventh-Generation Autonomous Vehicles Delivered

On March 19, Xiaoma Zhixing officially delivered a new GAC Aion Tyrannosaurus Robotaxi equipped with Xiaoma Zhixing’s seventh-generation autonomous driving system to Ruqi Mobility. The first batch included over 100 vehicles, which have already been integrated into the Ruqi platform and are gradually beginning operations. Meanwhile, Ruqi Mobility and Xiaoma Zhixing will further deepen their strategic partnership, jointly building a larger Robotaxi fleet and efficiently coordinating broader operational efforts.

This delivery marks a key step toward large-scale marketization of Robotaxi services and provides a replicable model for industry “technology + operations” synergy. Under this new cooperation framework, Xiaoma Zhixing focuses on the core autonomous driving technology “virtual driver” development and iteration, achieving sustainable monetization through a virtual driver usage fee model; Ruqi Mobility is responsible for fleet asset management, safety assurance, vehicle dispatch, and platform operations.

Alibaba Announces AI Strategic Business Goals: Over the Next Five Years, Cloud and AI Commercial Revenue to Surpass $100 Billion

On March 19, during Alibaba Group’s FY2026 Q3 earnings analyst call, CEO Daniel Zhang announced that Alibaba Cloud’s external commercial revenue for FY2026, as of the end of February, officially exceeded 100 billion RMB. Facing long-term growth momentum in the AI market, Alibaba’s AI strategic commercial target is clear — within five years, cloud and AI commercialization annual revenue will grow significantly from over 100 billion RMB this year to $100 billion (about 690 billion RMB), with a compound annual growth rate of approximately 47%.

Xiaoyunqiao AI Officially Launches Short Drama Agent Function

On March 19, Xiaoyunqiao AI announced the launch of its Short Drama Agent feature. Creators only need to upload a script and confirm basic requirements such as art style, framing, and narration. The Short Drama Agent can automatically complete story blueprinting, character design, and storyboard generation, enabling full-process production from script to series.

As a one-stop AI content creation platform under ByteDance, Xiaoyunqiao AI’s Short Drama Agent is the world’s first industry intelligent agent equipped with Seedance 2.0. Several film and TV production companies have expressed interest. Huace Film & TV stated they look forward to collaborating with Xiaoyunqiao to balance quality IP with efficiency and craftsmanship. Nimble Film & TV said they will explore how to empower high-quality content with AI technology and expand new boundaries in content creation.

Baidu Promotes Integration of Large Models and Search & Recommendation Business

On March 18, Baidu appointed He Jingzhou, formerly of the Large Model Algorithm Department, to rotate from the Basic Model R&D Department (BMU) to the Mobile Ecosystem Business Group (MEG), serving as the head of Baidu APP R&D Center, reporting to Luo Rong. This rotation aims to promote the integration of large models with search and recommendation services, strengthening the application of cutting-edge technologies like large models in core scenarios such as search and recommendation. The previous leader, Zhao Shiqi, resigned due to personal reasons.

Earlier, Baidu’s MEG reorganized, merging all PC and mobile search businesses under Li Xiaowan, responsible for user content and operations. Simultaneously, Baidu established the APP R&D Center and Experience & Quality Assurance Center. (First Financial)

Alibaba Establishes Alibaba Token Hub to Fully Embrace the AI Agent Era

On March 16, Alibaba officially launched the Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) business group, creating a new organization centered on “creating tokens, delivering tokens, and applying tokens,” directly led by Alibaba CEO Daniel Zhang.

This organizational adjustment marks an important step for Alibaba in the AI Agent era, with Token Hub as the core focus to strengthen AI business strategy coordination and advance Alibaba’s AI strategic implementation.

Alibaba Token Hub includes Tongyi Laboratory, MaaS Business Line, Qianwen Division, Wukong Division, and AI Innovation Division, covering foundational model R&D, model service platforms, and AI applications for individuals and enterprises.

Notably, the Wukong Division appears publicly for the first time, positioned as “B-end native AI work platform, deeply integrating model capabilities into enterprise workflows.” This indicates that, beyond the consumer AI app Qianwen, Alibaba will also focus on the B-end AI application market.

Zhizhi Longxia Base Model GLM-5-Turbo Released

On the morning of March 16, according to Sina Tech, Zhizhi released its first general-purpose large model optimized for lobster scene deep scenarios, GLM-5-Turbo. Simultaneously, the API price for GLM-5-Turbo was increased by 20%. Based on the end-to-end ZClawBench lobster evaluation benchmark, GLM-5-Turbo significantly outperforms GLM-5 in OpenClaw scenarios and leads in multiple key tasks compared to several mainstream models.

Along with this “lobster-specific brain” release, Zhizhi also launched lobster packages for individual and enterprise users. Monthly experience cards at 39 RMB offer 35 million tokens; advanced monthly cards at 99 RMB provide 100 million tokens.
