Volkswagen's 2025 Fiscal Year Profit Plummets Nearly 50%
German automaker Volkswagen announced that its profit for fiscal year 2025 plummeted nearly 50%, marking the lowest performance since the diesel emissions scandal crisis in 2016. It is reported that its net profit after tax decreased by approximately 44% year-on-year, from €12.4 billion to €6.9 billion.
