March 20th Better to sell too early than miss out on gains
I would rather sell early than have a flawed perspective [Taogu Ba]
If you can’t change this bad habit, you won’t be able to break free, especially in short-term trading.
There’s no room for the mindset of bottom-fishing. You think it’s the bottom, but end up dying at the last moment. The closer you get to the bottom, the greater the loss effect, and the less you should be confident in bottom-fishing. When the market opens lower in the morning, you should sell quickly. But some hold on out of stubbornness, thinking the market will rebound today, only to lose over 3 points and not sell, ending up with a 7-point loss. Another position is even more frustrating—gained over 3 points but didn’t sell, lost 4 points, and cut losses. After hitting two limit-ups, it suddenly exploded in an unpredictable way.
A day of collapse. I was cautious for half a month this month, but on the last day, I collapsed and took a big loss. I even added a position at the limit-up, only to realize that the more I lose money, the more my actions become distorted and I break the rules. This month’s profit has now turned into a loss. The goal for this month is to recover the losses.
The only way to change is to change yourself so you can move forward.
It’s the weekend—rest well, and let’s fight again next week.
