Caixin: After being out of contact for several days, a current mid-level executive at ICBC has been announced to be under investigation, and another former provincial branch “top executive” who was previously investigated has also received the investigation results.

On the evening of March 20, 2026, according to an official announcement, Chen Bing, Deputy Director of the Tianjin Branch of the Internal Audit Bureau of ICBC, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law. He voluntarily turned himself in and is currently under disciplinary review by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission’s Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team stationed at ICBC, as well as under supervisory investigation by the Tianjin Municipal Supervisory Committee.
