All 8 defendants received prison sentences, with case amounts totaling approximately 6.84 million yuan. The criminal group exchanged telecommunications fraud proceeds into virtual currencies through "U merchants" and returned funds to upstream operators, extracting approximately 8% commission per transaction, with cumulative fund flows traced at nearly 20 million yuan.
