Air Liquide and Sasol have signed new Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Enel Green Power RSA for an additional 110 MW of renewable power for Sasol’s Secunda site in South Africa. This marks the fourth set of PPAs, bringing the total renewable capacity to approximately 690 MW. The initiative aims to reduce Air Liquide’s CO2 emissions by about 1.2 million tonnes annually, contributing to a 30% to 40% reduction in CO2 from oxygen production at Secunda by 2031, with a new wind farm expected to be operational by 2026.
