Ukraine Says Received $1.5 Billion in Aid from International Monetary Fund

On March 3rd local time, Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal announced that Ukraine has received the first installment of aid from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under a new four-year plan. Shmyhal stated that this $1.5 billion funding has been incorporated into the national budget, with the total plan amounting to $8.1 billion. Since the full-scale conflict began, Ukraine’s national budget has received a total of $14.9 billion in financial assistance from the IMF. (CCTV News)
