The London Metal Exchange is taking measures to address trading suspension issues.
Deep Tide TechFlow News, on March 16, according to Jin10 Data, the London Metal Exchange (LME) announced that all contract trading has been suspended since 2:44 PM local time (10:44 PM Beijing time). Traders are awaiting more information about the cause of the outage and are unable to place orders across various markets, including aluminum and zinc. An LME spokesperson stated, “We are aware of the issue and are taking steps to resolve it as quickly as possible.” This trading halt occurs during a period of increased volatility in the metals market, as Iran’s conflict has disrupted the supply of industrial metals (including aluminum and zinc) and has made the long-term demand outlook uncertain.
