China and the US Hold Economic and Trade Consultations in Paris, France

On March 15-16 local time, the Chinese and U.S. economic and trade leaders, Vice Premier He Lifeng of the State Council and the U.S. lead negotiators, including U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Trade Representative Katherine Tai, held economic and trade consultations in Paris, France. Guided by the important consensus between the Chinese and U.S. heads of state, the two sides engaged in honest, in-depth, and constructive exchanges on issues of mutual concern such as tariff arrangements, promoting bilateral trade and investment, and maintaining existing consultation consensus. They reached some new agreements and will continue to maintain consultations. (Xinhua News Agency)
