U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wray said on Sunday that Americans can expect relief from high oil prices, but it may take several weeks. He stated on a program, “The American people are feeling the pressure firsthand. This feeling will persist for several weeks. But ultimately, we will eliminate the biggest risks facing global energy supply.” When asked whether gasoline prices will fall below $3 per gallon before summer, Wray said, “That is very likely to happen.” However, he added, “Nothing is guaranteed in war. The timeline is not entirely clear, but I believe this is undoubtedly a goal of the current administration.”
