Tencent Cloud Releases Industry's First Dedicated Skills for Animated Comics: Supports 80% of Top Teams in the Industry, One-Click Generation of Storyboard Videos
On March 16, according to Tencent Cloud’s official account, Tencent Cloud’s media processing capabilities have been released as Tencent MPS Skill and launched on the AI Agent ecosystem platform ClawHub. Currently, over 80% of leading AI animation teams in China are using the technology behind this Skill, mainly for video enhancement and picture quality processing.
With this Skill, creators can submit original videos through AI Agents like OpenClaw and WorkBuddy. The system automatically triggers a sophisticated industrial-grade re-drawing process: from automatic scene breakdown and intelligent character recognition to generating style reference images for each shot, and then creating storyboard videos and reassembling them with one click based on the reference images, significantly lowering production barriers.
New data shows that Tencent Cloud has served over 80% of top AI animation teams in China, with related works continuously reaching global content markets such as North America, Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea.
Currently, Tencent Cloud supports animation companies to produce an average of 40,000 AI manga images and nearly 40 hours of video content daily, amounting to approximately 800 to 1,300 episodes of manga content.
