On March 14th, New World China’s first urban renewal project in Shenzhen—New World 188—was inaugurated at Longgang Dayun Gateway.

Reportedly, New World 188 was formerly the Henggang 188 Industrial Zone Urban Renewal Unit, a representative park of Shenzhen’s early industrialization process. In 2023, New World China officially became the project implementer and completed land rights confirmation. The total construction area is approximately 900,000 square meters, including about 350,000 square meters of international residential community, around 60,000 square meters of walk-in commercial streets, approximately 220,000 square meters of office clusters, about 4,800 square meters of kindergarten, as well as community health service centers, cultural activity centers, a large underground parking space, and other public facilities for all ages. It is currently the largest and most comprehensive integrated industrial and urban development complex in eastern Shenzhen.

The first phase of New World 188 features the residential cluster, Jinyue. This cluster plans to build 1,142 quality residences with a community greenery rate of 40%, featuring themed gardens and about 2,600 square meters of public space, including an elevated leisure area, themed social spaces, and outdoor activity venues. The apartment types range from approximately 76 to 180 square meters, with 3 to 5 bedrooms.
