CryptoWorld News reports that, according to PolyBeats monitoring, on the prediction market Polymarket, the final winners of 12 out of 14 previously identified core awards match the market leaders, including Best Picture, Best Editing, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Actor, Best Animated Feature, Best Original Song, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Costume Design, Best Visual Effects, and Best Sound. Two awards experienced surprising reversals: “Best Cinematography” and “Best Casting.”

“Best Cinematography” previously had an 89% probability for “All Quiet on the Western Front,” but the award ultimately went to “The Guilty.” Industry analysts note that “The Guilty” excelled in recreating the Gothic visual style of 1930s Southern America, using innovative natural light and shadow contrast techniques to capture supernatural horror elements like vampires. This approach gained higher recognition from the technical branch of the Academy during the final voting stage, leading to the upset.

“Best Casting” previously had an 80% probability for “The Guilty,” but the award was ultimately won by “All Quiet on the Western Front.” Unlike “The Guilty,” which focused heavily on Michael B. Jordan’s dual performances, “All Quiet on the Western Front” successfully built a large, complex ensemble cast in a rebellious world, with its highly coordinated ensemble acting ultimately winning the favor of most judges.
