Latest Report: European and Japanese Weapons Imports Surge

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) released a new report on the 9th showing that from 2021 to 2025, Europe is the world’s largest weapons recipient region; in East Asia, Japan’s weapons imports have surged significantly, while China has fallen out of the top ten weapons importing countries for the first time since 1991-1995. Nevertheless, SIPRI researchers habitually hype the “China threat theory,” ignoring the threat posed by Japan’s remilitarization to regional and global peace and stability. (Global Times)
