A-shares Opening | Three Major Indices Show Mixed Results
On March 16, the three major indices of the A-shares opened with mixed gains and losses. The Shanghai Composite Index opened at 4,092.25 points, down 0.08%. The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,291.15 points, up 0.07%. The ChiNext Index opened at 3,323.98 points, up 0.41%.
The indices for sectors such as aquatic products, offshore engineering equipment, and cross-border payments led the gains, while the non-ferrous metals sector saw the biggest decline.
The cross-border payments sector opened sharply higher, with China Oil Capital hitting the daily limit. Sifang Jingchuang rose over 8%, while Cuiwei Shares, Zhongyi Technology, and Lakala all opened significantly higher.
