Google announces the gradual expansion of the AI-powered Gemini web app experience to all users across Hong Kong, with plans to later include the Gemini mobile app. This expansion further embodies Google’s mission to “aggregate global information for public use, so that everyone benefits.”

Gemini allows users to directly access Google’s advanced AI models to assist with daily tasks, including composing complex emails, brainstorming ideas for personal plans, and organizing family trips. As a multimodal tool, Gemini offers more possibilities for interacting with information through text, images, and voice. Users can also generate multimedia content such as images and music, easily showcasing their creativity. The Gemini model has been integrated into and drives Google’s ecosystem, with various communities in Hong Kong—including businesses, developers, educators, and students—continuously applying these features.

Will Drive More Creativity and Productivity in Hong Kong

Yum Ming Tak, General Manager of Google Hong Kong Sales and Operations, believes that expanding the Gemini experience will boost creativity and productivity in Hong Kong and help realize the goal of “Innovating Possibilities for Hong Kong.” He also stated that Google will continue to responsibly build a full-stack AI ecosystem to make AI more helpful for everyone.
