Pork prices decline for four consecutive weeks, egg prices show downward trend

People’s Financial News, March 13 — According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, since March, the prices of pork and live pigs across the country have been declining. Data from the Ministry show that in the first week of March, the national pork price was 23.04 yuan per kilogram, down 2.1% from the previous week, marking four consecutive weeks of month-over-month decline. The national live pig price was 11.89 yuan per kilogram, down 4.5% from the previous week, with five consecutive weeks of decline. Additionally, after the Spring Festival, egg prices nationwide have also been trending downward.
