On March 15, the Jialing District Market Supervision Administration in Nanchong City, Sichuan, released a situation report. The report states that around 5:00 PM on March 14, the Jialing District Market Supervision Administration in Nanchong City became aware of a video from China Food News Media about the chaos in the production of “internet celebrity beef tripe,” which reflected issues such as environmental hygiene in the Sichuan Chuanniu Fu Food Co., Ltd. production workshop located in Jialing District, Nanchong City. The administration attached great importance to the matter and organized law enforcement personnel to conduct an on-site inspection at the company at 6:00 PM the same day. An investigation has been initiated against the company, and they have been ordered to suspend production immediately, cease operations for rectification, and have their relevant raw materials and finished products registered and preserved in advance. Samples were also taken for testing on the same day. The related situation is under further investigation and handling.
