Beijing Business Daily News (Reporter Guo Binlu) reported on March 15 that the news about “a 30-square-meter shop opening 10 food stalls” has gone viral. In response, the Xiangshan District Market Supervision Administration in Guilin City, Guangxi, issued a statement: Recently, online discussions about “one store opening multiple outlets! Delivery riders discovering a 30㎡ shop divided into 10 stalls, turning into a ‘food city’” have attracted public attention. After investigation, the involved company has complete business license, food operation permit, and health certificates for staff. To attract more customers, they registered ten different shops at the same address on a certain online food service platform. The company unilaterally changed its business layout during operations. The Xiangshan District Market Supervision Administration has filed a case for investigation. Currently, the company has ceased operations for rectification, and the related online stores have been shut down.
