Meta delays the release of its AI model

Previously, media reports stated that Meta has been developing a text-based artificial intelligence model codenamed “Avocado” since December last year, with plans to launch it in the first quarter.

However, the latest news indicates that Meta has delayed the release of the “Avocado” AI model code from March to at least May. According to insiders, Meta spent several months developing this AI model, but its performance in internal reasoning, coding, and writing tests has not matched that of leading AI models from competitors like Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
