People’s Financial News, March 15 — On the evening of March 14, local time, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian spoke by phone with French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna. The two sides exchanged views on the current U.S.-Israel military actions against Iran and regional situation. Abdollahian pointed out that provocations by the U.S. and Israel are the fundamental reasons for the insecurity in the region and the Strait of Hormuz, and strongly condemned aggressive attacks targeting Iran’s military facilities. He emphasized that Iran’s defensive actions are solely aimed at invading military targets and not directed at regional countries. At the same time, Abdollahian openly stated that the core of the turmoil across the region, including the situation in Lebanon, lies in Israel’s hegemonic expansion. He called on the international community to adopt a responsible attitude to prevent further escalation of conflicts. (CCTV International News)
