# Why Are Most Romance Scam Victims Women?

Is it because women are easier to deceive?

I didn't answer immediately back then. I thought about it for a long time. Later, I told her something:

It's not because women are easier to deceive, but because many women's expectations can only be met by liars.

Think about a very realistic scenario.

If a young, beautiful, attractive woman suddenly starts caring about an ordinary man every day, showing concern and consideration.

Most men's first instinct isn't to be moved—it's to be suspicious:

Am I dealing with a scammer?

Because men understand in their hearts:

I'm not that excellent either. There's no such thing as this kind of free luck.

But if we flip the scenario.

When a man who is handsome, wealthy, gentle, and especially proactive suddenly appears in a woman's life.

Many women's first instinct isn't suspicion, but marvel:

Finally, heaven rewards the faithful.

The universe has finally arranged a man worthy of me.

Then the more they think about it, the more it makes sense:

I'm kind, I work hard, I deserve better.

The final internal monologue usually becomes:

I'm a queen, my confidence shines bright.

At this point, the scammer doesn't really need to do anything.

They just need to continue performing the life story you imagine.

So sometimes the problem isn't who's smarter,

but who's more willing to believe in a certain narrative.

And what scammers do best is:

They never actually deceive you.

They simply perform the life you most want to believe in,

for you to see.

As for why you end up being scammed?

The answer is actually simple:

When someone only wants to hear good news,

bad news only arrives after the account reaches zero.
