On the afternoon of March 6th, the Guangdong Provincial Delegation held an open group activity at the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress. He Xiaopeng, a National People’s Congress representative and Chairman of XPeng Motors, stated that for a company to develop, the most important factor is where the talent is. Recruiting outstanding talent and creating an environment that encourages them to stay is a strong guarantee for a company to weather cycles and grow stronger. He introduced that last year, XPeng Motors responded to Guangdong’s “Million Talents Gathering in Southern Guangdong” initiative, recruiting 40 “Sanqing PhDs” (graduates from Tsinghua University with bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees) in one department.
