Caixin: Trump says the Iran war is essentially over, and the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has also shown some flexibility on the Strait of Hormuz issue, causing international oil prices to plunge from high levels.

On March 9, international oil prices approached $120 per barrel at their highest and nearly $80 per barrel at their lowest. That day, the main US WTI crude oil futures contract closed down 6.78% at $85.08 per barrel, with an intraday high of $119.48 and a low of $81.19; the UK Brent crude oil futures contract closed down 3.78% at $89.79 per barrel, with an intraday high of $119.50 and a low of $83.66.
