Iran conducts military exercises Experts: Confronting the U.S. troop increase in the Middle East

Amid the U.S. military buildup, Iran’s main armed force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, recently conducted military exercises. The IRGC is directly commanded by Iran’s top leadership. Indirect negotiations between the U.S. and Iran are ongoing, but both sides are increasingly showcasing targeted military displays. Iran also demonstrated a joint firepower system composed of anti-ship ballistic missiles, armed speedboats, and drone swarms, serving as a counterbalance to the U.S. troop deployment in the Middle East and as a display of bargaining chips.
