ChainCatcher news, Culper Research posted on X that they are shorting ETH and related stocks (such as BMNR), citing: “After the Fusaka upgrade in December 2025, the tokenomics of ETH has been damaged. Even Vitalik himself is aware of this and is selling ETH, while one of the most steadfast ETH bulls, Tom Lee, continues to buy more, essentially pouring real money into a bad project.”

In response to this statement, Vitalik’s father Dmitry Buterin (dima.eth) said: “Once you see the phrase ‘Vitalik knows this and is selling,’ you can stop reading. They are attention-seeking clowns, not researchers.”
