Why am I more inclined to "take it slow" during this round of correction?

Many people ask me: Now that gold and silver have fallen so much, are you buying or not?
My answer is: I am buying, but I am not in a hurry.
Trading is not about predicting "whether it will rise," but about judging "whether it is worth taking the risk right now."
In the current environment, market uncertainty is not primarily about the precious metals themselves, but about:
* Whether global asset risk appetite is stable
* Whether volatility has been fully released
On Gate TradFi, I prefer to regard precious metals as "defensive assets" rather than short-term trading tools.
This means:
* Not fully committed
* Not chasing the rally
* Focusing more on the capital curve rather than single-trade win rate
True experts are often not those who make the most money on the day of a big drop, but those who can remain calm after repeated market shakeouts.
If you ask me what to do now, I would say:
👉 Keep cash
👉 Wait for structure
👉 Gradually position yourself
The market will repeatedly present opportunities, but your position size and mindset only get one shot.
