The rise and fall of Gate ETF leveraged tokens are derived from the price movements of the underlying assets. After being amplified by the corresponding leverage multiple, these changes are reflected in the **Net Asset Value (NAV)** fluctuations.
For 3x leveraged ETF tokens, the NAV's increase or decrease is equal to three times the price change of the underlying asset.
Example (using BTC-related products BTC3L and BTC3S):
When BTC increases by 1%:
BTC3L (3x long) NAV increases by 3%
BTC3S (3x short) NAV decreases by 3%
When BTC decreases by 1%:
BTC3L (3x long) NAV decreases by 3%
BTC3S (3x short) NAV increases by 3%
In short, Gate ETF leveraged tokens amplify the price movements of the underlying assets by 3 times through NAV changes, helping users trade more efficiently.
