【Blockchain Rhythm】Kaito founder Yu Hu recently announced an important strategic adjustment for the platform. According to the announcement, Kaito will gradually cease operations of the YAPS feature and the incentive-based leaderboard. In its place, a brand new product—KAITO Studio—will be launched.

The positioning of this new product is quite interesting: it will develop in the direction of traditional tiered marketing platforms. Simply put, brands will have more主动权 in the future. They can selectively establish collaborations with creators based on their own standard requirements and clearly defined project scopes. This model is more规范化 and精准化 compared to the previous incentive leaderboard.

This move reflects Kaito’s new approach in the creator ecosystem—shifting from passive incentives to主动匹配, making collaboration between brands, projects, and creators more transparent and efficient.

Another story of killing the leaderboard... Once YAPS is gone, it's gone. Anyway, those who manipulate the rankings have moved elsewhere. Disabling the incentive leaderboard?
